Pictures of cerebral palsy are virtually impossible to pinpoint for several reasons. First, the condition affects the brain, usually from brain damage. When an individual suffers a brain injury to this region of the brain, the brain is injured in such a way that it cannot communicate properly with the muscles and nerves in the body. This leaves these areas of the body without proper function. It is important to note that even though this is the case, that the muscles are not able to be used, there is nothing wrong with the muscles themselves. Rather, the lack of brain communication leads to the complications. Pictures of cerebral palsy may show a lack of brain function, for example in a brain scan.
