Cerebral palsy birth complications can occur in any child, even those who are healthy otherwise. This condition can be caused by a variety of ailments, including those that are unavoidable. Yet, there are instances when cerebral palsy is the direct result of poor obstetrician care, nurse care or mistakes that are made during the birthing process. Any incident that causes brain damage to the child can lead to cerebral palsy development in the child. For example, if the child is in distress and a doctor does not delivery the child through an immediate c section, or react fast enough to the information he or she has, this could lead to complications that were avoidable.
