Cerebral Palsy Association

In the United States, the cerebral palsy association, or United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) is a foundation that leads the way in information on cerebral palsy. In addition to educating the public about this condition, the organization also works as an advocate for the rights of children and adults who suffer from this and other disabilities. The organization is one of the largest charities in the country. The UCP was founded in 1949 and has become a national organization for those who suffer from this and similar illnesses. To provide the services they do, the association works through an affiliate network. The United Cerebral Palsy National Office is located in Washington, D.C. though there are networks available in most larger cities around the country.
