C Section Pregnancy

Many women will end up with a c section, pregnancy surgery. This procedure involves an incision into the woman's abdomen and uterus to extract the child. It is not considered the best method for delivery since there are numerous problems that can arise including excessive bleeding, blog clots, infection and more pain for the mother. In some rare cases, the bowel or bladder may be damaged during the surgical procedure. A c section, or cesarean section, is in fact considered major abdominal surgery. In addition to this, this type of birth can cause additional risks for future births, including a higher risk of complications such as placenta accrete and placenta previa. Not all c sections can be prevented, especially those done because the child is in distress or do to other emergency situations.
