Breech C Section

If your baby is breech, c section operations may be required. This type of birth is not the recommended method and a breech baby can cause a number of complications to occur. Doctors prefer for the baby to be delivered head first, since this facilitates as safer birth. In a breech birth, the child's bottom is coming out first, rather than their head. If a doctor determines there is too much risk during your last appointments prior to birth, and the baby has not turned around, the doctor may section a c section delivery rather than allowing you to deliver vaginally, for the safety of the child. C section births are surgical procedures in which the woman's abdomen and uterus are surgically opened to remove the child.
