Baby C Section

Baby c section deliveries are one type of delivery. In this instance, called a cesarean section, the child is delivered through a surgical incision in the abdomen of the mother, through the uterus. In some situations, a c section is prescheduled, but in most cases, it is done due to unforeseen circumstances. It is important to note that this type of delivery is major abdominal surgery and as such, there are risks for complications including brain injury and infection. Those who have a baby, c section deliveries are much more expensive, can lead to a longer hospital stay and often cause more postpartum pain than traditional, vaginal deliveries. Most women will need an additional length of time to fully recover from a c section. The largest risks to the mother include potential excessive bleeding and blood clots, as well as damage to the bladder or the bowel, though these are rare.
